BS (Hons.) Respiratory Therapy:

The program’s goal is to train graduates to become healthcare professionals who can evaluate, manage, control, diagnose, treat, and care for patients with illnesses or acute or chronic cardiopulmonary (coronary heart and lung) disabilities, general respiratory issues, issues in adult intensive care units, and problems in neonatal and pediatric ICUs.

This degree program will cover and provide the care necessary to help keep patients of all ages breathing. It will frequently work with other healthcare professionals and can be found in various settings, including intensive care units, emergency departments, running rooms, neonatal nurseries, general wards, outpatient clinics, specialized medical centres, and patient’s homes. Additionally, provide improved life support for extremely ill patients in institutional and network settings when necessary.

Graduates from our institute will be skilled in mechanical ventilation, pediatric advanced life support (PALS), emergency medical services (EMS), and intensive care. They will have received training per international standards and have a history of working in the hospital and healthcare sector.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for BS (Hons.) The Respiratory Therapy program is FSC pre-medical/equivalence as determined by the Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) with at least 50% marks
  • Age 18-25 years
