BS (Hons.) Medical Imaging Technology (MIT):

Radiology is now becoming a diverse field consisting of diagnosing diseases, getting interventions, and nuclear medicine. Medical Imaging Technologists are recognized experts in a wide range of medical diagnostic image production using ionising or non-ionizing radiations. Many procedures performed in Radiology/Medical Imaging Departments are organized by Radiological Technologists/Scientists. They carry out radiographic procedures like CT scans, MRIs, angiography, general radiology, nuclear medicine, and mammography. They can also perform emergency procedures with Radiographic Units, monitor patients’ vital signs, and perform surgical asepsis, among several other objectives. In modern hospitals, Medical Imaging Technologists play an essential role in disease diagnosis or management. So help healthcare professionals in providing quality health.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for BS (Hons.) Medical Imaging Technology program is FSc pre-medical/equivalence as determined by the Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) with at least 50% marks
  • Age 18-25 years
